With nearly 40 years of continuous experience in the successful construction of often complex underground structures, involving all forms of Tunnelling, Delta have become a household name in the industry and with a reputation for developing innovative solutions for the most challenging situations.

Delta has completed numerous projects throughout the UK, principally concerned with the Utilities sector. In the water industry we are regularly consulted by clients and their key consultants and designers because of our knowledge in the creation and installation of strategic underground pipelines. Many purpose developed solutions involving Trenchless Technology have been built to improve Foul and Surface water Sewerage Systems, Combined Sewer Overflows and Process Plant operations discharge to upgrade the water quality in our rivers, coastal catchments and for clean water supply.

Our long standing relationships’ with major clients in the water industry, and ability to deliver, has helped Delta to obtain ‘Framework Contractor’ status with Thames Water, South West Water and Wessex Water. We are also employed by some of the Water industries ‘Tier One’ contractors on a Sub Partnering, collaborative basis. Both, Client, Contractor and Designer benefit from our early involvement where our advice on suitable methodology based on the interpretation of any available soils investigation is the key component to any successful implementation.

Microtunnelling, Pipe Jacking (including shafts) and Machine Technology are key areas of our company’s activities. We operate our own fleet of sophisticated, highly accurate fully automated machines to install underground pipelines and services tunnels ranging from 150mm to 1500mm diameter. More recently, we become actively involved in the renovation of existing structures e.g. attenuation tanks, storage & water supply tunnels, culverts beneath highways and Network Rails Infrastructure.

Our choice of methodology has often enabled our clients to save money by restoring instead of renewing.
